am deeply saddened by your loss. It is a loss to all who knew her. Alice and the staff on three south molded me into the nurse I became. She will be forever missed.

Mrs Carney was a special person who will be greatly missed. She was was an awesome nurse, one of the best I ever knew. She had a warm heart, an open door, a caring spirit full of compassion. I was blessed to know her. My heart is sad for all those who loved and will miss her. But we rejoice that she is whole again, dancing with her loved ones in heaven. She will be with you- her loved ones, always. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Only a pandemic would have kept me away...

Everything this says and more. Alice was THE absolute best head nurse ever. She taught me so much about how to “do nursing” right. Working with Alice were the best years of my nursing career. She will forever be in my heart.
Rest in heaven Alice. You so deserve it.

As a young nurse at Mercy Medical Center back in the 1970’s, I definitely learned a lot from Alice. Yes, everyone loved her compassion and her ability to make any situation be calmer. I loved working with her. Thank you Alice for all I learned from you! Blessings to the family.
