Alice G. Chater

Age 99, of Penn Hills, passed peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Frank C. Chater; loving mother of the late Kenneth L. (Joy) Barry, Sr.; cherished gram of Kimberly (Timothy) Kopicko, Kenneth (Lisa) Barry, Jr., Kristy (Mark) Golebiewski and Kara (Dominic) Bertucci; great-gram of Ashley, Timothy, Lauren, Alyssa, Brando, Ciara, Aden, Colin, Nicholas, Blake and Luca; great-great gram of Gianna, Nico, Nora and Rory; dear sister of Betty (the late James) Rall, Alberta Mosco, the late Lillian (Augustine) Terkay, Mildred (Edward) Kaczanoski and Arthur Astridge; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ross Carmichael officiating. Entombment to follow at Allegheny Cemetery.
