Alice was like a mother to me when my parents rented part of the farm house in the 1970s and early 80s... she taught me many things and from her I gained a love for many things including gardening and crochet. She is an amazing person and she left an idellible mark on me. I called her Aunt even though we were not blood related. I was sad to hear that she passed. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

To all of my cousins and families - I am sending my heartfelt sympathy and hugs to all of you on this sad day as you lay your mom to rest. I could not attend today's funeral due to work obligations, but I do want you to know I am praying for your family and Aunt Alice - I know she is now with Uncle Bill as her final resting place and that is probably a celebratory day for her - and not one of sadness. Very happy to know Alice is right where she dreamed to be--in the presence of her Savior! She was a woman of sweet faith and was a blessing to her Heritage Baptist Church family. We'll miss her, but look forward to joining her--she just beat us to it! :)
