I will always remember Alice! She had such a lovely smile, and was always ready to tell an interesting story, from her very full and interesting life.

Dear Cousin Jackie and family,

We were very saddened to hear the news of your Mother's passing.

Our families have a long history, and while circumstances created distance there was always a connection nonetheless. Over the past few years email had your Mother and us in touch. We exchanged all kinds of information and news, and sometimes solved family tree issues and mystery photographs!

Alice was indeed the "Grand Lady"of Walden 3. She was gracious and beautiful and beloved by all here. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that we will all miss her here too, and that i feel she is still with us in spirit.

Jackie- I was so shocked to hear of your Mother's passing. She was such a grand lady. I never have Hot Cross Buns at Easter, that I do not think of her and her kindness. I no longer live at Walden and so regret that I was not able to tender my sincere sympathy to you in person, since I had missed her services.
