Alice Daugherty

I was the fourth person on that fateful camping trip to Niagara Falls. Marvin and I did not intend to go that far north, I just kept driving until the sun began to set. Meeting Alice and Karen was like running into two long lost childhood friends. We were having the times of our lives. That extended short trip ended up carrying us to upstate New York and on to Boston. As we were driving back to Greenville, Marvin kept marveling on how much he enjoyed Alice's company. I´m saddened to hear of Alice´ passing. She was the first neighbor we met when moving to Westhaven/Greenville. She introduced us to St. Paul´s pre-school for our kids and to Sadie Saulter school, where her boys attended. She was so welcoming and kind and I will never forget her gracious way. RIP Alice and comfort to Marvin and family.
