Alice Virginia Sims Deason

After I married Cindy, Alice was the first accepting Cindy into the Sims family by stating to Cindy " You´re one of us now". From that point on Cindy considered Alice as a "sista". They grew very close over the years so Alice will be greatly missed.

I was in Sunday School with Alice for a time at First United Methodist Church Birmingham (I am still there). I always figured her for the quiet type, but man, was I wrong! What a legacy she left as a loving mother, grandmother and beyond. After all these decades, I still recognized her appearance in the obituaries. Blessings to the family.
