Alice Priestley Dreir, 96, passed away with her family at her side on July 12, 2007, at Aspen Meadows, where she had resided for the past few years.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1910, in Billings, the daughter of Verga Neafus Priestley and Cloyde Alvin Priestley. They moved to Bridger where her father homesteaded 160 acres outside of town while he worked for the Great Northern Railroad. She graduated from Bridger High School and later moved to Billings, where she met and married Albert Dreier. They ran Albert Dreier Plumbing and Heating for over 50 years. She was charter member of Friendship Chapter #124 of the Eastern Star, where she was a Worthy Matron.
She is survived by her daughter Janice (Irvin "Bill") Goodman of Billings; three grandsons, Mark (Dianna) Goodman of Helena, Glen (Carolyn) Goodman of Moses Lake, Wash., and Jason (Ashley) Dreier of Murray, Utah; three granddaughters, Michelle Dreier of Salt Lake City, Tanja (Tom) Dickson of Sandy, Utah, and Traci (Dan) Marchwinski of Billings; eight great-grandsons, Christopher Goodman of Bozeman, Dustin Goodman of Bellingham, Wash., Corbin Goodman of Moses Lake, Thomas, Preston and Chandler Dickson of Sandy, and Colton and Austin Marchwinski of Billings; three great-granddaughters, Shannon (Josh) Koutecky of Spokane, Wash., Joyce Goodman of Moses Lake and Rochelle Dickson of Sandy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Dreier; and her son, Larry Dreier.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Pilgrim Congregation Church with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Pilgrim Congregation Church, 409 S. 36th St., Billings, MT 59101 or the charity of your choice.
