Alice R. (Vanasse) Dunham, age 83, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George W. Dunham. Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Aurora (Forand) Vanasse. Mrs. Dunham was employed as a sales clerk for the former Kerr Mill for many years. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, shopping, reading and gambling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Her life was "dedicated to my six kids that I loved a lot, they made my life worth living". She is survived by her children, Deborah Dunham & husband Chuck Cunningham of Davis, CA, Nancy Margetta of Fall River, Gale Moore & husband Darrell of Woodland, CA, Cheryl Chaplin of Fall River, Georgeann Silvia of Swansea and Wesley A. Dunham of Fall River; her nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Arthur & Lester Vanasse and Eleanor Sprague. Mrs. Dunham's funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by committal prayers at 11:00AM in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
