I was very attached to Alice at dialysis and had deep respect and admiration for her and the great courage with which she faced each day. She fought so hard each day and even on her most painful days, she always had a smile for me. I know she loved her family and worried how hard it was for them thinking of them first. I am truly blessed to have known her and will always keep her in my prayers

My sincere condolences to Nancy, Glenn, Wendy and all of your families during this very difficult time. Alice has always had a special place in my heart, and will be truly missed. Growing up I was close to the Smith family. Alice was like a second mother to me too. You were always made to feel at home when you were with her. My heartfelt sympathy to Nancy, Glenn, Wendy and all of Alice's family. Alice, ("Honey"), was like a second mother to me years ago and I'm sure others feel the same way about her. Alice had a big heart with more than enough love to go around. I will always remember her smile and her hugs. She was a woman who never stopped, because if she did, she'd fall asleep in her chair! i am sorry to know of the passing of cousin "honey" i'll always remember how hard she worked,if you wanted to speak to honey you always knew where to find her,working. she was alway pleasant and mild mannered.the farm was a great gathering place for kids rather it be relatives or friends,we all seemed to be one. rest in peace honey. robert dyke
