Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary

Alice E. Elizondo, a long-time resident of San Antonio, was called home to the Lord Monday the 16th of February while at home. She was born on June 1, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas. Alice received a Masters in Spanish with a minor in French from Our Lady of the Lake University. She taught second and third grade at Ben Milam in San Antonio for 11 years and worked in the family business, Eureka Sheet Metal for most of her married life.

Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was happily married for 55 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, socializing with friends, dancing with her husband, rooting for the Spurs and the Cowboys and had a kind heart that touched many lives.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Esther Garcia and her sister, Emilie Campos. She is survived by her husband, Manuel Elizondo, son, Manuel J. Elizondo, his wife Laura Elizondo, daughter, Elizabeth E. Jones, her husband Gregory Jones, and grandchildren, Manuel Ray Elizondo, and Darren J. Elizondo, brother-in-law Rene Campos and his children all of whom live in Texas.

FUNERAL SERVICES:

Visitation will begin Sunday, February 22nd at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at The Angelus Funeral Home, 1119 North St. Mary?s St. Funeral Mass will be offered Monday, February 23rd at 11:30am at St. Ann?s Catholic Church, 210 Saint Ann Street, San Antonio, TX, 78201. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.
