Not sure what to say?

Both Alice and her husband "Cookie" Fontes were patients of mine when I practice podiatry in EP, having retired 2 years ago.

I have very fond memories of them both.

Please accept my belated condolences.
Sincerely,

Dennis DiMatteo

There's a saying I've heard since the time I was young that could fall into the "old wives' tale", superstition or maybe just one of our creole inherited fable categories- all of which I've always taken with a grain of salt....until today.
The saying goes, when a good person dies there will be rain on the day of burial.
Well, rain it did . Right up to the time when Alice was left at her resting place.
As her family and friends gathered in a tribute of her life, the sun came out...
