I received notice of Aunt Alice's death from my brother, Tom. My memory of Aunt Alice was that she was a good wife to Uncle Walter, mother to their three girls, Carol, Alice and Barbara, and I am certain she was an equally good grandmother. I am sure she will be missed, but what a wonderful life she must have had, especially with the support of a close-together extended family. Hi everybody, I just received a note from Tom my brother about Aunt Alice, I am sorry for your loss. I like Tom have very fond menories of Aunt Alice and I wish we lived closer together. She was a very kind and a very loving woman. I always loved visit her and Uncle Walter when I was growing up.
I am sorry I cannot come to her momorial service I will remenber her in my prayers.

I Thought I would pass on some information I found several years ago. I went online at ellisislandrecords.org/ and looked for grandma because I remember my Mom telling me that Grandma went back to Ireland to settle her mom and dad estate. I found her when she came back but I have no idea when she first arrived. She came back with Helen and John in 1909 John was 8, Helen was 1 and she was 31. Hi everyone sorry I can't be there but my thoughts are with you. I have such vivid memories of Aunt Alice and Uncle Walter. I can still see Uncle Walter sitting in his chair rolling cigarettes. I don't think I ever remember Aunt Alice saying anything mean or arguing with anyone. She must have been the middle Child. When I am on the eastside sometime I drive by and look for the house.
I remember the many Sunday's going back and forth from Grandma and Grandpa house to Walter and Alice's....
