DOLLY'S POEM If I could call my Mother, I know what I would say. I'd tell her how I miss her, each and every day. I'd promise her to try and keep, the wish that she had made. To always keep the family close, and not let our love fade. For even though Mom is gone, we have to stay in touch. For Jeff, for Dolly and for Jon, she wanted this so much. Mom was special in more ways than can be recalled. Born before WW1, pneumonia three
times before the Depression, married before WW2, raised 3 children, had jobs in homes-
restaurants-factories-offices during the depression plus more beginning in 1960 that
concluded in 2002 thirty two years after she lost Art to a sudden heart attack. Mom filled countless volunteer positions over seventy years in Brownies, Girl Scouts, various churches,Sons of Norway, Lutheran Home, etc.. Mom made...
