Alice, as the Maid of Honor at her sister Dorothy's Wedding - Jan-4-1942

(l-r) Alice and her sister Anne c.1925

Today would have been her 94th Birthday. In honor of her memory, I have arranged for this Guest Book to remain on-line indefinitely.

OK,.. I'll begin here. I had spent hours digging up old photos saved on my computer's hard drive to extract those photos I found of Aunt Alice. Sorry, there are none of her alone, since all photos taken were group shots of our family partaking in the usual fun we indulged in... which is fine when thinking about this. This should be a tribute to her wonderful life lived and celebrating it as such.
Below are some photos to scroll down through of special times we shared. I hope you can...

I used to call every week or every other week to talk to Aunt Alice. I found out that she was sent to a nursing home. This was understandable because no one could take care of her at home as she was always falling. It made me ill thinking of her there. Aging is a sad process, and challenging for caretakers. No one know this more than you Linda. ...

I just wanted to say that Aunt Alice will be missed; she was my Godmother. Even though we all haven't been together in one place in along time, I do remember when we all used to get together in Brooklyn, it was always a great time.We all love you. RIP Aunt Alice.
Your Godson, Tommy Marano - 3/2/13

Thank you Jean Anne,
I do remember & have those photos when we saw each other last at Uncle Mike's home with your sister Mary as well. Oddly enough, I was cleaning out some drawers about a week or so ago when I came across a group photo of us all posing on the outside pool deck along with Aunt Alice,.. and momentarily I thought of her and wondered how she was doing. Now I realize at that moment upon reflecting, she was either dying or had just passed through the gates of Heaven with our...
