Alice B. (Jaronczyk) Gulomb, 100, of Hartford, widow of Edward F. Gulomb, died, Friday, June 21, 2013. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Paul and Bertha (Bojar) Jaronczyk and had lived in Wethersfield for many years before moving to Hartford 20 years ago. Prior to her retirement Alice worked for Travelers Insurance Company. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church, a member of St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church, and a member of the Church's Ladies Guild, she also served on many committees of the church. She is survived by her son, Robert Midura and his wife Marianne of Hartford, six grandchildren, Leanne Torres of Leominster, MA, Karen M. Midura of Hartford, T.J. Midura (Mary Elizabeth) of West Hartford, John Midura (Karen C. Midura) of Glastonbury, Marie Elena Weinle (Rick) of Wallingford, great-grandchildren. Sr. Alicia, Victoria, Francisco, Michael, David, T.J., Nicole, Jennifer, Amber, Catherine, Megan, Robert III, Joseph, Logan, Jonathon, Justin, Sara and Samantha, a great-great-granddaughter, Adrianna, a sister-in-law, Carol Jaronczyk of Windsor. She was predeceased by a grandson, Robert P. Midura, Jr and two brothers Charles and Joseph Jaronczyk. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013, 9:00 a.m. from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home 1276 Berlin Tpke. Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10: 00 a.m. in St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church, 285 Church Street, Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, Monday June 24th from 3-7 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Augustine Food Pantry or St. Patrick-St. Anthony Sandwich Ministry.
