Not sure what to say?

So honored that Alice was our aunt, always welcoming us to her home, loved our trips out to her favorite restaurants, she was so intelligent, especially about world affairs and had such a great sense of humor. She is spoken of often by us; remembering her and keeping her memory alive. We miss you Aunt Alice, please give your dear sister Pat a huge hug from us both. XX

I see, and regret, that I am too late to meet Alice Gustfason in person. I have been doing a little light research on Glendoveer and see her hand in saving the golf course, and nature trail, from development. I looked for her book about this on Amazon, but can't find any leads as to how to borrow or acquire one. Nonetheless, I am pleased to read about her life here.

So many memories of this beautiful woman, and so proud to call her our Aunt. RIP Alice, you will never be forgotten. X

Alice, you are still missed here at HPP--your lovely smile and concern for others. You have missed out on any interesting year with the pandemic and how it has changed our lives in many ways. Resurrection has started another hunt for a new pastor as their temporary leader is coming to the end of his stay. So miss our visits.

Reaching out to Sally and all your family with admiration for your mother and love. I think your mother was a wonderful "parent" at Reynolds High School for the wonderful girl I had in class and in the AFS club. Love to you.

Alice was inspiring to me as a young lady as the definition of a strong woman. Such a wonderful mother and friend to so many. I am so honored to have known her during her life and the family. All my love during this time and always.

As one of my two older sisters, Alice was always there for me . whether as a small kid growing up in 1950's Portland, visiting me at the University of Hawaii and in Bowie, MD, and later in life providing a good measure of wisdom from her life experience. Rest in peace, Alice.

Our memories of Alice will live always in our heart.

Your welcoming friendship was a blessing to many and to me. Thank you for all your contributions to the communities that benefited from your unique gifts. Missing you.
