Not sure what to say?

Dear Marian,
Alice was oneof my all time favorite patients, her attitude and good sense of humor was loved by all in my office. I will greatly miss seeing her and taking care of her.
Dr. Michael Cohan

My brother Steve expressed my mother's feelings very well. My mother, Helen Verderber, and Alice shared a very special connection through the years. They were always very close, but spoke almost on a daily basis in more recent years. They shared stories about their children and grandchildren, and growing older. They laughed a lot, always. My mom's funniest stories had Alice in them. We send our deepest sympathy to your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so sorry to hear that Alice has passed. But we know she is at peace.
ever since we moved to Evergreen street more then 30 years ago we have been friends with and loved Mrs. Haley. My Children have loved her and now my grandchildren love. My grandson was so sad to hear of her passing. I was always so happy to look across the street and see her beautiful flowers. Marian and David you have our sympathy, but you must know that she is in peace without pain.

We will always remember our cousin Alice's wonderful, contagious laugh, and great sense of humor. She was such a favorite cousin of Hugh (Tom's Dad) and we all knew why! What a blessing to have had her on earth. God Bless. Love, FLO and TOM Beggs

They met while both were working as office pool secretaries at the accounting firm W.A. Alexander, located at 134 South LaSalle in the heart of the loop. My mom was 18 and Alice was 20. They hit it off immediately and became the closest of friends. This was during the height of WWII and they shared...

I am so sorry to hear about your mom passing away. Mrs Haley was so very nice to talk to. Mom and I will miss her very much. Much loved from Chris and Liz Klufetos. ( your neighbors).

Boy did I love this woman! She was the dearest person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have so many very fond memories of her, I can still see her in the kitchen making egg noodles and tomatoes with LOTS OF BUTTER, or in her garden with all her beautiful flowers and it brings a smile to my face! She was terrific! I hope she finds peace and most of all she will reunited with her beloved Frank, Aunt Farn :) and of course good ole Mrs. Brown! Love to the entire family, and Mar,...
