Alice Hammond

So sorry for your loss, Alice was so special, a joy to be in her company. Had the opportunity to work with her at the elections, was always able to count on her. Alice was very active on committees, especially With the American Italian Women's Club, the Italian Festival, Italian Banquet and of cause the Italian Monument that was a dedication for all our families that came from Italy. Carol I am sorry to see your mother’s passing. She was a good neighbour to my Mom and Dad at 177. I enjoyed our chats when I visited as well. May she rest in peace. Mary Ellen Ring

I can’t think about Alice without seeing her amazing smile.
We would always share a laugh whenever we met.
Her down to earth way made it so enjoyable to talk with her.
She was my one of my aunts best friends and like family to all of us.
She attended so many of our family celebrations.
I’ll never forget working at the Italian festival with her and all the fun we had. Though she has passed and joined her loved ones and friends. We are not left empty of her presence....

I will miss Alice’s smile from ear to ear whenever we gathered as a family and especially when the grandchildren were present. Alice was always kind and welcoming. She will be greatly missed.

I’m sorry to learn of Alice’s passing. When I was the Language Arts Consultant and Assistant Principal at Wequonnoc School Alice was the school’s secretary. She was all business in the office and a wonderful lady to work beside. Alice’s sense of humor was appreciated by me and the teachers’ and other people on staff. Students and parents and guardians of Wequonnoc School were grateful of Mrs. Hammond’s kindness whenever they had dealings in the front office.
