Not sure what to say?

I am the baby of the late Gertrude Farthing Brown. She was the youngest of the late Gertrude Clements as she married the late William (Bill) Farthing. I am sadden by your loss, but also my loss as I never had a chance to meet her. I thank you for allowing me to share a part of my ties to you and to tap into my ancestors.
Wanda

Alice's Grandmother was a Farthing. I remember her Mother, Betty Mae (who was my Mother's first cousin). She would come to work in Aunt Bessie's flower shop.

Although, I don't remember meeting Cousin Alice, she is family and it hurts to lose a member so close in the line, but separated by the miles. Sleep Well.
