Alice Irene Hathaway

We are all in the water works community sadden by Alice's passing. She was committed to this organization and the members for 34 years. She was an honest strong woman who kept the New England Water Works Association on track and true to the mission during her tenure. Thank you Alice, may you rest in peace.

For the past year, I have been one of Alice's caregivers at the Eventide Home in Quincy. In that year's time Alice and I forged a strong bond of friendship. I saw in her a strength of character and deep moral values. She was a woman of her word and she expected you to be too. Some people were a little bothered by her outspokeness but not me. It was honest!!
Alice enjoyed hearing me talk about my upcoming wedding. She liked hearing all the planning details. She had a hard time remembering...
