Alice was such a nice, congenial lady. My family & I purchased flowers & vegetable plants fro her & Wayne when I was a child & later my husband & I Jim Stroup did also.She was always extremely helpful with plant selection & care.

I was so sorry to hear about your Mother but please remember the good times. You have a lot of pictures to show her Grandchildren. Just remember she is happy now with your Dad and both are looking down with a great big smile.

Mrs. Hemphill was such a nice lady and is so much a part of my childhood memories. I never go in a greenhouse that I don't breath deeply and enjoy a few moments of being transported back to Buena Vista in the 50's and 60's when Mother and I would go for plantsin the spring. A big part of the experience was Mrs. Hemphill's helpful and cheerful personality. The world was a better place for her life. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
