Not sure what to say?

I know this is a late entry but... Ms. Hengesbach was my first grade teacher and my very favorite!! I remember her like it was yesterday. The kindest sweetest person for a very shy little girl. She made my first year of school very special.

I have such fond memories of Alice going all the way back to my childhood.I have two specific memories. The first is when I made my First Communion. I knew she was coming to my party at my house. I can remember waiting on the front porch in anticipation of her arrival.I was so excited to see her. The other memory occured during one summer ,when I was a litle child.Alice took me to a lake.We made paper sail boats and put birthday candles in them .We lit the candles and the boats sailed...

Alice was a wonderful person. We have fond memories of time spent with her, especially in Weston, Vermont. We think of her often and while we miss her, we know she is in experienceing the true peace of heaven.

How I enjoyed Alice's tales of her association with Maria von Trapp - and Alice's trips to Vermont to see her friend. Alice was a faithful parishioner of Saint John Vianney Parish. May the Lord welcome this happy heart into his kingdom.
