Not sure what to say?

Aunt Alice, It was always a pleasure to visit with you. You always had a kind word and beautiful smile for all around you. You will be missed, but we know you are in a better place with all of those that have gone before you. Please say hello and tell my Grandpa and Grandma Holland I miss them every day and they have come to me in dreams often so I know they are watching over me and my family. Thoughts for a smile.

To the Holland families and to Mary and Lee McCann, whom I met in Houston, I wish to extend my sympathies in the loss of this wonderful woman. I only met Alice twice, I think, but I still remember how welcoming and warm she was to me when I met her at one of the Snow family reunions. How much I enjoyed hearing the stories of how as a youth, she would catch a ride with the mail wagon on its journey from St. George to Central where she would then be met by my grandfather, Levi Snow, who would...

We were sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mother. By now she is rejoicing with Frank, who has been waiting patiently. We love you and your families, and pray the comforting spirit of the Holy Ghost will lighten your grief, and give the assurance of the blessing of family relationships in the next world. We send our love and support.

I have never met Sister Holland, but I was touched by the beautiful words that were spoken about her by Elder Holland in Conference, and I'm saddened to hear of her passing. Thank you for sharing her example with those of us outside her realm of influence. May the Lord bless you all with His spirit at this time. It seems you have been blessed to share your lives with a very special lady.

Dear Holland Family,

On behalf of my family please convey our deepest sympathies on the passing of Sister Alice Holland. Wow! She was a special lady for many of us in St George. I am serious. Many, many young men and women were touched and inspired by her influence for good over them. St George was a small community back in the 50’s and 60’s as we grew up and Sister Holland knew us all very well. I have great memories of her influence in my life in both elementary and high...

My children and I met Dear Sister Holland a few years ago on her birthday. What an amazing lady. I think of her often and my children treasure that memory. Thank you for sharing her with us all.
The world would indeed be a better place with more people like Sister Holland.
