We are so saddened to hear of Alice's passing. She was my best friend. We grew up together next door and she was such a blessing to have as a friend. She is a true angel. As a counselor at Martin Elementary where Alice was a Special Education teacher I was in and out of her room often. She alone seemed to know how important finding the root cause of a child's difficulties was. She led the staff in developing plans to rehabilitate kids who struggled. She was an inspiration to me and I watched as she changed the lives of so many children. She was a compassionate, intelligent, problem solver and most likely belonged at the helm of a major corporation. She taught...
