Not sure what to say?

I still remember sister James martin and sister Thomas Gertrude, THEY WERE THE TWO TOUGHEST NUNS i have ever met, they were also the most caring i have ever met, them and father Doheny ran cathedral Grammer school with an iron fist, and the kids loved them for that.what great memories i have of the three of them, i will never forget them. R.I.P. my forever friends.

Sr. Alice was a wonderful German teacher, and I travelled in a group of Cathedral High students that she chaperoned on a trip to Austria. She expanded our knowledge of the world.

PRAYERS AND HAPPY MEMORIES

Du warst die Beste. Ruhe in Frieden, Schwester.

Wonderful and fun memories @ Cathedral (1959), especially those of Dave chauffeuring Sr. Mary Lynch, Sr. Eileen Ryan, and Sr. Alice Kenney in Springfield. Saying endless prayers for each of them, knowing a new angel joins our hosts of angels in heaven. Priscilla Kelly

Sister Alice or as I knew her at Cathedral, Sister James Martin was a true servant of God. With a warm smile, Sister as a teacher and administrator had a lasting effect on generations of students. My sincerest condolences to her family and especially to her fellow Sisters of St. Joseph. May Sister Alice, Rest in Peace in the Arms of Our Lord.

Sister was my eighth grade teacher at Cathedral Grammar school - she was wonderful - may Jesus bless and keep her- sister Sr Frances Gloster my sister passed away on June 24 th - they are now together-

We loved Sr James Martin when we attended Cathedral High School and for the times we visited her during our married life. She was an excellent teacher and mentor.

Sister Alice was a gift to the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, loved sharing with her at Fontbonne Convent.
