Not sure what to say?

When Alice was First lady the third time around a group I belonged to was trying to start a non-profit organization to help abused children and we asked Mrs King to help us out and dedicate the first every Giving Tree at the DeVargas Mall in Santa Fe. Now there are giving trees at every Church regardless of faith and at schools, malls and stores. My sincere condolences to all of Mrs. King's family. I am sad for your loss and so very grateful to have lived in New Mexico when she was the First Lady of the State then.
You are in my thoughts.

What a loss for the entire State of New Mexico. She was a great woman and loved by all. What a marvelous legacy she left behind, not only in her family but her works and her love of life. I am deeply saddened by her passing and extend heartfelt condolences to the family.

What a wonderful lady. God bless her for all that she did for New Mexico. She was the best First Lady that this state could have ever hoped for. You are all in our thoughts and prayers

Bruce, Bill and Gary: I think you know Alice was very special to all of us, including Reuben and me. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely,
Joyce S. Pankey

I was privileged to work with, and get to know, Alice King, when I became Executive Director of the Children's Foundation in 2005. She was a great lady and a fierce advocate for the children of New Mexico. My thoughts are with Bruce, Gary and Bill.
