I pastored a church in Manzanita almost 50 years ago, and it was always a special Sunday when Alice Rae and Howard came to worship. You couldn't find more outgoing and pleasant people. I happened to see the obituary for Alice Rae while searching for the obituary for my own mother, who passed away just a week after Alice Rae.
