Not sure what to say?

It has always been a pleasure to have known such a lovely lady and her beautiful, loving children. Our thoughts and love are with you.

Visiting with Aunt Alice and Uncle Bill was a such a treat for us. Even though we didn't see them often, we have fond memories of our dad trading jokes with Uncle Bill all evening long, while we spent time in the kitchen with our mom and Aunt Alice (and Daisy) talking about school, travel, and family. We always laughed a lot! Aunt Alice had wonderful way of making us feel special.

Mary, Regina, Maureen, and dear Bridget with whom I met your mother 30 years ago, in a room at Southdale Hospital. Since then, whether we saw her often or rarely, we remembered her with laughter and love. Now we believe, along with the dog in Higgletty etc, that there is more to life than this...and Alice knows for sure. Fondly, Nancy and Annie Belbas. We will be with you tomorrow for services.

Dear Mary, Maureen, Brigid, and Regina,
Alice was my friend and mentor, especially in my young adult years in Edina. So often she had just the right and comforting words. She loved her faith and education. She encouraged me to finally have my college education--age 43-49; and then my Masters at the School of Divinity, along with seminarians and some latecomers like me.
May God grant you, Alice, the eternal rest and happiness you so richly deserve.

I am so saddened by the news. She was the kindest person I have ever met. Ever since we were kids she was so proud of her family, and she had a right to be. My thoughts and prayers are with you and if you need anything please let me know.

Meeting your Mother at Mary's in St. Louis was such a treat! So nimble, feisty, smart, and fun. Our condolences. Love, Mike, Karla, Jack & Charlie Lavin

I met Alice last March as a caregiver for Joyful Companions (formerly Touching Hearts at Home). I spent my whole spring break with her working overnight shifts and continued care on weekends and even some Thursday overnights.I would leave her notes in the morning which she looked forward to. She was one of the sweetest people I've met. I got to visit her in July and it was wonderful. I am so thankful for having the chance to meet her and care for her.

Brigid,
I will always remember your mother's special charm, her ready smile, quick wit, eastern accent and her love of animals. I have a lot of fond memories. So sorry for your loss.
