Alice Clary McGregor

Mrs. Alice Clary McGregor, age 75, of Cornelia, GA, passed away November 18, 2014 at her home. Born August 7, 1939 in Harlem, GA, she was a daughter of the late Dr. William Claiborne Clary, Jr. and Alice Frankalene Walters Clary. She was of the Episcopal Faith, was a registered nurse, and was a Red Cross volunteer. Alice was a United States Navy Veteran. Family members include her husband, Glenn McGregor; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Victor Towery of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, John and Susan Stevenson of Tiger, GA; grandchildren, Alessandro S. Towery of Cornelia, Vittoria E. Towery of Cornelia; great-granddaughter, Minerva Lillianna Towery of Cornelia; brothers, William Claiborne Clary, III of Franklin, NC and Frank Campbell Clary of Dallas, GA; uncle, Kenneth Clary of Atlanta, GA. Memorial services will be held at one o'clock Friday, November 21, 2014 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10 am until 1pm Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross. Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
