I would like to tell you all about the neckless in this photo that was taken on Alice's 80th birthday. I have volunteered for a Refugee Education Program here in Tucson for the past three years. I feel so honored to have known this wonderful, powerful, and wise woman. Thanks for all of those wonderfully thought-provoking conversations, tears, and laughter, Alice. Thanks for your huge heart and generosity. My life is forever changed.

Please accept deepest condolences to the McKittrick Family, May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with tenderness and loving kindness as he strengthens you to cope with the passing of dear Alice as each you face each difficult day ahead.

I was fortunate to meet Alice when she became my neighbor in Fort Lowell Place. She was a lovely, intelligent woman who always had a smile a joyful soul.
