Alice Moloney

Alice was my late mother's best friend and a neighbor. They each had a subscription to the Paper Mill Playhouse and sat together. Since they were both teachers in Bayonne, they shared thought on effective teaching methods and other things. I will also miss her. My condolences to her surviving relatives.

She was my 1st grade teacher in No. 2 school in 1958. I loved her. She was such a good soul. She broke her leg that year in I think a skiing accident. She was such a pretty woman.

I had Miss Moloney for 4th grade at #3 School Annex in 1956. I fondly remember her as a sweet, caring, encouraging teacher. You can not have anything but good memories from being in her class. May she rest in peace after a life well lived, and a career well done.

My dear Aunt Alice will always hold a special place in my heart. She had the kindest way about her, and loved her family so much. I'll never forget her soft voice, her love for recalling stories of her brothers and parents, and life in Bayonne as a child. Of course, memories of family holidays spent with cousins, aunts and uncles in the huge family home in Bayonne, NJ will always make me smile. In God's arms may you gently rest, Aunt Alice.
