Not sure what to say?

Miss Moore was such a great teacher and a lovely person, she will be sadly missed.

Dr. Alice Moore, you were a wonder, who, lived history, loved history was and shall forever more be
a huge part of West Palm Beach's history ! Thank you for being kind, caring and charming you! That twinkle in your eye will be forever missed, now fine Lady RIP!

Dr. Alice Moore was an incredible woman who saw much during her life, not all of it good, but no matter what always seemed to have a big smile on her face. Reading the remembrances in this Guest Book by her former students, it is clear that she did much to change the lives of many children and adults during her life. To me she was a trusted friend and adviser who worked hard to improve her Northwest neighborhood. She was always impeccably dressed, hair always in place, make-up perfect,...

Dr. Moore,
We all know you shall RIP being loved by a community and its people. I remember driving to events with you, and you were always giggling. I also remember sitting on your porch, IF there was room among the papers and mail, listening to your stories. I will always feel blessed that you came in to my life.

Miss Moore was my first grade teacher at Industrial High School. She immediately recognized my ability to excel and was diligent in her efforts to ensure that I was challenged and rewarded. The next school year, I entered third grade. Thanks, Miss Moore for being one of the best teachers I ever had!!

Celebrating a life well lived and a community Mother who will always be remembered and loved. Your light will shine forever in the community you loved so well. Take your rest Mother Moore. Condolences to all who knew and loved her.

When one has given her life for a good cause, bestowing freely and unselfishly her talent, influence and time for the betterment of the community in which they live, touching all phases of the religious, social and civic life of the people, death is momentous.

My dear Gloriana, you are gone but because of your work your light will shine bright for years to come.
Thank you now enjoy a well deserved and earned rest

As an Instructor at Bethune-Cookman College I remember how proud I'd be that my first grade teacher would be right there in the audience with her foster mother, Ms. Alice Mickens. Ms. Alice Moore was a champion among women and teacher extraordinaire! I am so happy that after all these years I got to share a final early morning chat on the front porch of that same home that I visited to attend one of. Yolanda's first birthday parties so many years ago. She never forgot anything and was as...

Ms. More,I will never forget you as my teacher and my first born daughter's teacher.I was so happy she was in your class that year.Thank you for your love and kindness and dedication as an educator.I can truly say your living was not in vain, you have helped so many people alone the way." Servant of God take your rest".
