Not sure what to say?

This day, 13 December 2007, my mother, Alice Marie Nobbs (nee Miller) left us 17 years ago. It still seems like yesterday. We love and miss you mom, and appreciate the message you left for us. Still regret not being able to fulfill your wishes, but had to move forward in our own lives. Rest in Peace.

Today, 13 December 2009, is exactly two years since Mom left us on that awful morning at 8:10 a.m. We recall her valiant struggle to maintain life and all of her thoughts and last wishes.

We must express our deep regret at not being able to honor her final requests as she wrote them and indicated. Alas, we also remember the good things for her and that she raised us to be honest, honorable and thoughtful.

Cal, Tiffany, Chris, Iulia, Alexandra, Antonella and I dearly...

Today, 12 October 2009, would have been Mom's birthday, 83 to be exact. Would that she was still with us, however, we pray that she is now in a better place with our loved ones from the past, and our Creator.

Today, we fondly remember Mom once again. The estate has now closed and after much difficulty, it has become impossible to honor her final wishes. We did our best for her, but now we must move on. Perhaps she no longer even cares about the earthly things.

We remember Mom again this day, since she left us a year-and-a-half ago. We continue to strive to honor her memory and wishes, as much as we are allowed. We, (Antonella and I) and also Cal and Tiffany, appreciate the moral values she and our father taught us. Would that everyone could! We would like to extend a special note of appreciation to Cal and Tiffany who did all they could for their beloved Grandma. You each made her very happy. Know that she was thinking of you both at the very end....

As of 6:45 p.m. Wednesday 8 April 2009 Mom's best friend, Vera Knowlton, slipped away peacefully at her home. We know that now she has joined Mom in the next life and we will miss both greatly. Over the last year and a half Vera became a second Mom for Antonella and I, always checking on us to make sure were were ok. Now, we lose both of them . . . however, we know that they are with their husbands and other loved ones. We take great comfort in this.

Today we have chosen to continue to sponsor this guestbook in the memory of our beloved Mother and friend. She taught each of us dignity, respect and set an excellent example. We know she is in a better place and in her own way, continues to be with us. We miss and love her very much.

Today, it has been one year since Mom left us. We miss her greatly and strive to fulfill her wishes as best we can. Our lives have been enriched by her loving and caring upbringing. We are most thankful for all that she did and the legacy she has left us. She is sorely missed by Antonella, myself, Cal, Tiffany and all of those friend, neighbors and family that truely loved her. Chris and Iulia Penny, Keith and Dianne Hubble, Jim and Janet Roman, Tim and Janice Roman, Kevin and Dorothy...

Our dearest Mother, we remember you especially on this day, 12 October, your birthday. We deeply respect and appreciate the way you showed your appreciation through all things. You have provided a stellar example of a Christian attitude during your final ordeal. Would that you were still with us. You are deeply missed and your time was much too short on this earth . . . it should have been longer . . . our lives are finally coming together since your departure. Your friends in the October...
