Not sure what to say?

Thank you so much for being the teacher you were. We loved you. Your classy 1960, ladylike style, your wit and your high pitched voice. I remember it all. Your smile, your grace. And you gave me a gift, the love of classical literature! You gave that to me and I thank God for that! Bis Himmel! Denise

Mrs. Oliver was one of my favorite teachers in Jr high school, my heart felt condolences to her son Dan and family.

Alice was should a pleasant woman. She was so appreciative of everything that was offered her. She always came to baking group and always had a smile . I only knew her for a couple years but she made it a wonderful time. I am so glad she became a part of my life.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working closely with Alice since 1972. She was in every way, first, a lady. She was kind, caring and a first class teacher. My heart sank to my stomach when I heard of her death. Bully for Alice, living 98 years!

Mrs. Olver was a lovely lady, and she was one of my very favorite teachers when I was a child in the Haddam school system. My sincere condolences to her family and loved ones in the aftermath of her passing.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Very sorry for your loss! Maria Tellechea

Mrs Oliver was my home room teacher for 2 years in the 70´s - she was instrumental in my reading when she gave me a book called `Where the Red Fern Grows´ I read that book not once but twice that year. It is my all time favorite! She was always so kind and sweet. We had a special bond because we shared the same first name! May her family enjoy all the good times she brought them and know she is watching from above - a true loss. Blessings and prayers.

Alice was always cheerful.

Dan,
We are glad that Alice lived such a long life. She was our valued colleague and neighbor for many years--just a good person!
