Not sure what to say?

I met Alice several years ago through my friend and neighbor Lynn, who was very close to Alice. I never really got to know her well until I was diagnosed with cancer for a second time. I was devastated when I was told I had Pancreatic Cancer. I felt so lost, but Lynn had told her and she was right there for me. I can honestly say that I feel she is a big reason why I am alive today. She introduced me to her oncologist, Dr. Rosen, one of the best in the biz, and very hard to get in with. Yet...

When I was a kid, I would hear these wonderful stories about Alice... as an adult I could see why. Such a beautiful soul. We would find commonalities in the crazy world and laugh at some of it, because sometimes you just need to. She was very helpful when I was dealing w my Mom's illness and giving ideas and a bit of navigation, forever grateful. It was heartbreaking to hear of her illness return. The caterpillar thought her life was over - and then suddenly she could fly. Fly beautiful angel girl, fly! Love you and miss you always.

When she lived in Portland, Alice and I used to go to the Nobby Tavern or lounges and listen to live music. I always enjoyed her zany sense of humor and limitless energy. She could throw parties for a slew of people and never run out of steam even in the wee hours. She always helped us with our gatherings, too, making sure the food got topped up and clearing empty glasses behind the scenes - she saw what needed to be done and jumped in without anyone asking. She was such a classy person,...

Alice was a beautiful woman inside and out. I met her through Mike Hayutin. She had a heart of gold and a steely sharp mind. She gave me a fascinating old set of Talmud books. She always thought of others. I am honored to have known her. May she be honored by Hashem through eternity.

Thank you Alice for teaching me to play double bass. You are a gem.

You are such a rare soul Alice Mae... And you have been so generous with your love and wisdom through the years. I will miss you terribly but take comfort in the fact that you have all of your superpowers now, and will be nearby. Can't wait to see you again angel girl! Xo

ALICE lived a life of courage and optomism. Alice made me a better person. She was all woman and all inspiration.

Thank you for always being so kind to me. We love you. Andrew
