Alice Gamez Pizzini was born on June 7, 1931 to Flavio Gamez and Maria Zapata Gamez.  She married Frank “Paco” Pizzini III in San Antonio, Texas in 1975. She leaves behind her daughters, Irma Flores and Sylvia Irene Pizzini Cantu; son-In-Law, Daniel Cruz Cantu; son, Anthony Pizzini; daughter-in-Law, Ricki Beth Pizzini; granddaughters, Carolina Alicia Cantu, Daniella Juanita Cantu, Francesca Denise Cantu, Kristy Pizzini, Carli Pizzini; grandsons, Anthony Pizzini and Ryan Pizzini; her niece Gloria Rico and family; and many more grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.  


In her twenties she loved fashion and always worked in several different department store in North Star, Central Park and McCreless Malls.  Later in life she started working for the North East Independent School District as a bus assistant for the special needs students.  In 2004, she decided to retired to stay home and take care of her granddaughters, Carolina, Daniella and Frankie.  They were her joy and sunshine every day.  She waited at bus stops and in car line but never forgot her babies.  She was a great daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend and animal lover. 


She was preceded in death by mother and father, Flavio and Maria Gamez; her husband Frank “Paco” Pizzini III; her brothers, Rudy Gamez, Albert Gamez, Roy Gamez, and many more family members.


Pallbearers will be: Matthew Campos, Carolina Cantu, Derrick Smith, Alissa Huerta, Andrew Rico Jr., and Andrew Rico, Sr. 


Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 27th at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 10:30 A.M. at the Angelus Chapel.  Interment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery # 2.
