nee Gruber) of Wauwatosa. Born to Eternal Life September 16, 2013 at the age of 101. Alice is fondly remembered by all for her great faith, generosity and caring concern for others, her lively spirit and love of music. She is preceded in death by her cherished husband Max, daughter-in-law Jane, sister-in-law Sister Charlotte Schmidt and ten siblings along with their respective spouses. Alice is survived by her loving son Gregory and his companion Jill Lockwood, daughter Maxine and her husband David Watkins; treasured grandchildren Clare and David and his wife Jessica Benjamin; and beloved nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23 at San Camillo Chapel, 10200 W. Blue Mound Rd. Wauwatosa from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. A reception will follow. Private entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorials to St. Camillus Foundation or the School Sisters of St. Francis appreciated.

Dear Maxine and Gregory, My brother, Michael told me just recently your mother had passed at 101. She lived a long, happy life. What a sweet person your mother was. She cared deeply for my mother all of us six kids when we were growing up. She took me to the lake with her and your dad. We had so much fun with her. She was a very talented person. This is a great picture of your mom and her blue eyes. I remember her smile so well. I hope you are all doing well. Love Patty
