I met "momma Alice" through my mom who was a hospital stay roommate with Alice´s next door neighbor. My mom & I would visit her neighbor once a week following their discharge from the hospital. On a few occasions when we arrived for a visit, Alice was checking in on her lonely neighbor as she was recovering from surgery & lung cancer treatments.
