I wish to express my deepest sympathies to the family of Mrs. Alice Veach Mosley Shaw. Mrs. Mosley was indeed a favorite teacher of many that passed through the halls of the Laboratory School. My favorite memories of Mrs. Mosley entail her love of reading. She would read stories outloud to us, and instilled in many of us a love for adventure possible for us all through books!

She was particularly sensitive to her students needs and feelings. I remember at least on one occassion,...

Alice was a beautiful person who will be missed by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to Wally, Sage, Ginny, Pierre, Lisa, and the entire family. You are in my prayers. Tammy

I remember Mrs. Veach so well. She was my third grade teacher at the Lab School (1957-58). She was the tallest woman I'd ever seen at that time! She always had a kind word for each student. I was eager to be in her class because I had heard from those in grades ahead of mine that she was "so nice." And she was. I learned so much, including how to write "in script," during that year. I will never forget her and know that she will be greatly missed.
