Brandon's Mortuary, Inc. - Malvern Obituary

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, one we loved and knew stepped across the threshold that we call death. Alice Fay Smith was born October 14, 1957, in Sheridan, Arkansas, to the late Hersel and Maxine Smith. She was a caring, loving person who liked being helpful to others.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Sunday School Number 10. She loved singing in the Inspirational Choir and any choir that would allow her to sing. She also made sure the choir and minister got the offering envelope every Sunday. She gave willingly for the love of her church and pastor.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Smith. Left to remember her with love are siblings: Donnie Smith of Los Angeles, California, Karl Smith (Vivian) of Malvern, Arkansas, Terry Smith of Shannon Hills, Taewin Smith of Malvern; her special friends: Debbie Meeks, LaKesha Kendrick, Tyrone Flowers; a host of other relatives, friends, the whole First Step Adult School family, the staff and residents of Arbor Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was a special person that everyone loved.

Alice's Home Going Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., on Friday, October 14, 2022, at First Baptist Church Vine Street, in Malvern. A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P. M., on Thursday, October 13, at First Baptist Vine.
