I was so very sorry to see that Alice passed away. I have always admired your Mom and Dad. I remember thinking, as far back as when I was in High School, what a unique family. Our agency has forever been touched by the giving spirit and compassion of Alice Sousa. Alice had the courage to start our meal program, The Lord's Table, more than 40 years ago. This program eventually came under the auspices of St. Joseph's Family Center, and still continues to impact the lives of those experiencing homelessness or are unhoused. Her legacy of giving, caring for those less fortunate and unwavering support of our work in South County will forever be remembered. Rest in...
