Alice and I became acquainted at Beacon Hill as residents. We both enjoyed the same activities such as Wheel of Fortune which required good reasoning abilities. Usually I could get the answers but once Alice was there, I could see she was a whiz and I had competition. I learned she did not feel she was bright but I let her know that my experience and training as a school psychologist that she indeed was a very bright as observed in her ability to solve complex problems.
