Not sure what to say?

Alice was a wonderfully inspiring person. Always smiling and could remember so many details to be able to inquire after my life or children. I am merely an aquaintance through marriage and she always made me feel more to her than that. An inspiring role model on life and aging gracefully.

OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME OF YOUR LOSS

I loved Alice I just called her Grandma even though she wasn't my Grandma. You hear about people that pick their own family, that was us. I met her because I married her Grandson. Even when we were no longer together I like to say I got Grandma in the Divorce . That would make her.giggle. the best part of my week was always when I would visit her. I willMiss her so much. Till we meet again.

Always will love you

My Aunt Helen Winterbauer-Huffman (age 90 in February) wanted me to send condolences to your family as she said Alice was married to her dad's (Adam) brother and they used to buy eggs from them all the time when they lived in Fancy Prarie and she said Alice would always wash the eggs off before selling them. She remembered her very well and sends blessings to your entire family.

Sorry for your loss. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had heard of Alice Winterbauer's passing and I have an aunt (Helen Winterbauer-Huffman) that grew up in Fancy Prarie with my dad (Frank Winterbauer - who passed away 2014 at age 93). My aunt is visiting from Florida so I will take home the Obituary to see if she knew her. So sorry for your loss and hoping you have good memories to help you through this difficult time.
