Not sure what to say?

Sr. Alice impacted so many students over the years. I was lucky to have her as a professor and mentor. So many great memories. Out of the blue, Sr. Alice showed up in the hospital the day my daughter was born. When i asked how she knew, she just smiled and said, "I have my ways." RIP Sr. Alice. Phil and Ellen Walcott AQ Class of 1984.

Early on, in the early 1960's, Sister Alice, then called Sister Marie Elise, taught biology at Muskegon Catholic Central. I was fortunate to have her as a teacher and have always said that she was my favorite teacher. She made learning so enjoyable and of course, she was such a wonderful person to be around!

I never had her as a Professor, but I always saw her bright smiling face on campus and she will be GREATLY missed! My condolences to the family.

She paired her love for the natural world with her faith...

I remember a friend at AQ had trouble getting into a class she really needed to graduate. She told me later, "It all worked out, Sr. Alice went to bat for me." Of course, that's what she did. There are wonderful memories, too, of a semester in Ireland with her. A freezing cold March day, standing on the deck of a ferry from Inishmore to Galway, laughing while turning...

She was a gem of a teacher always excited about what she was explaining to her students even if it were her umpteenth time.

Dear Wittenbach family, may our loving Lord comfort you in your loss. On behalf of the White Family, with deep sympathy, Don White (nephew of Walt & Louise Wittenbach)

She was such an intelligent and giving and humane life force. Her love for the Ireland Program is renown. With her family´s approval, might it be possible to sponsor a tree being planted in or near Tully Cross?
