Even at a young age I recall a very real respect I had for her...she was dedicated to her calling. 25 years into my own teaching career, I hope that I have modeled her kindness and professionalism.

Alice and I taught together many years ago in Pittsford. She was a great mentor to me. I still remember her idea to cook breakfast in Powder Mill Park with our fifth graders as we were opening the Park Rd School. I believe the tradition may still be going on. She was a wonderul teacher and friend.
