Alice made everyone who visited her home feel as though they were treasured family. Thank you for your love throughout the years.

Peace be with you, Alice, for all the generous warmth, wit, and support that you gave to so many people -- as well as for the enduring love and encouragement that you gave to Bill, both on- and off-road, throughout this life. Our greatest condolences to all the members of your family and to the fine people of Abilene, the community that always remained close to your heart. You made a difference, and you will be dearly missed.

I have had Alice--and all of her family--on my mind a lot. Although I am sad for all of you during this difficult time, I am glad she is at peace now. Alice was so very talented and so kind, giving much to our community in so many ways.

May the bereaved family be comforted by looking forward to Jesus' promise recorded at John 6:40.
