Not sure what to say?

Always remembered and missed. You and Rudy were such a special couple. RIP Fran Austin

I am sorry I am just now finding this. Miss Lane was my first grade teacher in her first year of teaching, in 1963. As a little girl, I thought Miss Lane was the most beautiful, wonderful lady I had ever seen - the ideal of a teacher. At the end of the school year, when I told her I could not go on the class outing because of a family wedding, she took me out to lunch. My first time ever in a restaurant. Miss Lane always made me feel special and valued. I don´t know if any teachers...

Certainly miss our political discussions, and lunches at the Cafe on Dale Street.

Had always enjoyed the pool activities, and seeing her with her beloved Rudy. Such a wonderful couple. Great example for all.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I think of Alicia frequently, as we used to email several times a month regarding things going on in our country. Alicia always had well thought out opinions. I miss meeting her for lunch, and our long conversations. We'd always talk about Rudy, and her MARVELOUS step-children that she adored, and their families. She was so very proud of them all. Alicia and Rudy were two VERY special people that I am fortunate to have known.

She was my first grade teacher at calf pen meadow school. She knew my dad very well Charles Hayden , he was a teacher and then became a principal, they kept in touch . I kept in touch after I had my first child I remember her as my favorite and beautiful teacher in first grade. I am so sad and had no idea she was sick . I was always on her Facebook page. She was a lovely lady, will miss her .

My condolences to all who love her and all whose lives she touched and shaped as she did mine. Always one of my favorite teachers. My prayers follow her to God. - Katie Cowen Holy Trinity, 1st grade, 1982

Heartbroken to accidentally find out of Alicia's passing. Alicia and Rudy were two of the kindest, loving individuals that I have had the pleasure of knowing. I assumed Alicia was traveling a great deal since she usually responded quickly to emails. She and Rudy are now together....Rest In Peace

You will always be in my heart with your beautiful smile.
