Not sure what to say?

She painted a portrait of me in 1974, adolescent ten years old. It is a treasure as well as the time spent sitting with her while she painted.

Charlotte McQueeney visits Alicia Rhett 2011

I visited her at the Bishop gadsden home as a 'guest' of my mother's. They were long term art friends. My mother passed away months before Alicia's passing. I re-visited Alicia to let her know of my mother's passing. She said, "Oh no, not my Charlotte." They had been friends since the 1950's. Alicia was sweet, always happy and stately in her beauty. She was a joy to all.

A sad loss for such a gracious lady. Condolences to the family, may God grant you peace and comfort.

My condolences to the family. Even though Alicia is no longer with us, she is not forgotten. John 5:28

Alicia Rhett was a special lady. I hope that she has taken refuge in the bosom of Abraham. I loved her so much!

May God remember Alicia personally. Malachi 3:16

For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones (Hebrews 6:10). Alicia will never be forgotten for all the work done for the Acting community and especially those encouraged and inspired in this wonderful persons' care. May God continue to strengthen your family in these “times hard to deal with” (2Tim 3:1), especially without a beloved one such as Alicia Rhett.

So sad for your family
