Not sure what to say?

Dear Cathe, Doug, Carly and Hannah,

We are deeply, deeply saddened to just learn of Alison's death back in December. I saw the piece in the Ledger today about the cooking class to raise funds for leukemia and Alison was mentioned. I am just heart sick. What a terrible, terrible loss for you all.

Alison was such a beautiful young woman with incredible potential. I remember her dimples, sweet personality, and positive outlook for the future. When we last saw you in 2004,...

I am so sorry for your loss.My daughter has been a patient at the Floating many times over the last four years while Alison has been in. She was a lovely girl. We are praying for your entire family.

What a beautiful service held today. Doug and Kathe, you've got a beautiful, loving family and I was truly inspired by their words about how Alison lived her life. I was honored to be at the service today. All your daughters are truly remarkable. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.

There are no words. Thinking of you, though.
Todd, Alison, Jeff & Samantha

Doug,
I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Linda (Crowe) Harris called to read me Alison's obituary as it was printed in the Dunkirk / Fredonia Evening Observer and I got the chills when I learned that your beautiful daughter grew up in Hull. I was divorced, after 21 years of marriage, this fall and I have just moved from Naragansett Rhode Island to Hull. My heart goes out to you and your family. My family lost our Jenna to bone cancer two years ago when she was just 19, as your Alison...

Cathe, Doug, Carly, and Hannah~
We were incredulous today when we found out that Alison's fight was over. It doesn't seem fair that after such a long struggle, she isn't here anymore. Like the lives of so many others, my life has been touched by Alison's courageous story. I do plan now to donate blood, which I have never done before. I know she will always be remembered in our hearts, and will be my personal motivation for giving blood. My thoughts are with you all.
