Miss Alissa Jean Floyd, age 39, of Fairmont passed away May 26, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
She was born April 15, 1982 in Robeson County.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Brayboy; her stepfather, Troy Norton; her maternal grandfather, Charles Lowell Floyd; her paternal grandmother, Mary Brayboy; and a brother, Matthew Lawrence Brayboy.
Alissa is survived by her mother, Johanna Norton Heffner and Donovan Heffner; her boyfriend, Jamel Hunt; five children, Desirae M. Jacobs, Arayia Jacobs, Nevaeha Freeman, Jamel Hunt Jr. and C.J. Hunt; two sisters, Lori Jo Brayboy (Ronnie McCall) and Elizabeth Norton (Lane Garner); one brother, Andrew R. Norton (Beth Norton); and countless aunts, uncles, grandparents, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday May 29, 2021 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, NC.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday May 30, 2021 at 2:00PM at The Family Cemetery 204 W. Tatum Ave. McColl, SC 29570 with Rev. Brian Oxendine officiating.
